Permissions!

OOC PREFERENCES:
CONTACT METHOD: AIM (ricinbeens), plurk ([plurk.com profile] ricinbeens) or gmail (iamthejunipertree) are all fine.
THREAD-JACKING: Go ahead!
FOURTH WALLING / CANON PUNCTURE: Future events yes, facetwins yes, canon puncturing no.
BACKTAGGING: I am not great at backtagging past a few weeks although I am willing to try for really important threads! Just poke me if you want a tag on something.
AVOIDED TOPICS: I prefer to stay away from fire/arson imagery.
PREFERRED GENDER PRONOUN: She/her/hers.

IC CHARACTERISTICS:
CURRENT CANON POINT: At the end of the last season finale.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Simon is about 27 years old, tall (6'), broad-shouldered, and solidly built. Typically, his skin appears gray-white with a blue pallor, and his eyes are completely white except for his pupils. In the unlikely event that he's wearing cover-up and contact lenses, he appears to have blue eyes and somewhat patchily bronzed skin. He is not very skilled at applying his makeup and it tends to be noticeable when he's wearing it even to a new person. He usually wears slightly outdated and not exceptionally flattering clothes and has a particular fondness for bulky knit sweaters, although he also still owns the slim black suit he was buried in. He has some scars: needle marks on his right arm, a hole at the base of his neck, and a long scar that extends all the way down his spine and appears to have been stapled shut (as in, the staples are still there).

Simon speaks with a noticeable Dublin Irish accent and has a deep, mellifluous voice, which he almost never raises. He doesn't really smell like anything, but a particularly perceptive character might notice the faintest lingering smell of death on him (if, you know, the zombieface didn't give it away).

DEMEANOR: Simon is not a man of many words, but he doesn't often need them: he often communicates with a raised brow or a smile or frown just as well as with a speech. He carries himself with absolute confidence and a steady stride. He comes across as a man, ultimately, who is completely comfortable with himself.

ABILITIES: Simon is a Partially Deceased Syndrome sufferer, or in other words, the living dead. He is stronger than most humans and cannot be killed unless his brain is destroyed. He feels no pain and few other physical sensations.
MEDICAL INFORMATION: Simon requires a daily shot of neurotriptyline in the back of his neck or he will begin to revert back to a mindless, "rabid" state. He cannot eat or drink and will be violently ill if he ingests anything other than brains (human or animal).
CABIN INFORMATION: Simon's cabin is a replica of Amy's bungalow. The door is plain black wood with a paneled, curtained window. The interior is a fairly standard flat that looks somewhat like it should belong to an elderly lady with green wallpaper and overstuffed furniture and religious iconography liberally scattered about. The living room also features a large Undead Liberation Army poster. The fridge is tiny and contains only jars of a clear, dark liquid. The bedroom is small and pinkish-red and most prominently features a large cross and a mirror with pictures of Jesus and Mary above it.
OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS: Speciesism/prejudice.

IC PERMISSIONS:
MENTAL: If it is possible for them to do this on an undead person, yes.
MIMICRY: Yes.
VIOLENCE: Yes.
MAGIC: Within limits, ask me first.
DEBATE: Yes, and this will probably happen.
OTHER / NOTES: General warning: Simon's backstory contains depression, drug use, and scientific experimentation on human bodies. I will warn where necessary, and please feel free to opt out of any related posts/plots by posting here or telling me directly.

Hey, question for you!

I know Simon is a zombie, but I don't know how-- dead he actually is since he's kinda "cured"? Lydia being a banshee, if he's technically dead, she'd feel death around him, like she does around vampires.

Is his body cold/dead inside and just his brain is "reanimated"? Are you okay with her feeling death around him?

Awesome, just wanted to make sure! She's never met a zombie before. :D
